  19. I did. Works fine, can even read CDDA with high speed. Most other
  20. drives (in fact, _all_ other drives that I used myself) can only
  21. read CDDA in single speed.

  27. I don't think that I experience any intended loss when reading CDDA
  28. with my AppleCD300. But the data _does_ contain errors. Errors
  29. that you wouldn't notice in an audio player because the errors were
  30. subdued. The number of errors directly correlates with the number
  31. of dust particles on the CD :)

  33. Another problem with most drives is that they do not start at the
  34. exact position you specify. I can imagine that the Plextor doesn't
  35. have this problem but I didn't verify.
